Account Representative/Customer Service

No boring days in this role! Build and maintain daily relationships with international suppliers, retail customers, and a dedicated sales force. Manage all data entry and maintenance for designated accounts and act as primary communication conduit for sales and production. Ability to multi-task and drive productivity. This role is integral to the function of day-to-day business.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage daily order entry, order verification, and confirmation through Quickbooks for a selection of designated accounts
  • Field phone calls and emails from customers, vendors, sales representatives, and owners following appropriate communication guidelines and procedures
  • Confirm inventory and product allocations regularly to align with pending and confirmed orders and provide accurate and complete information
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Arrange collection and delivery for all orders
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
